My story

I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Mass Communications at Carleton University with minors in both women’s studies and philosophy.

 

I spent the early years of my career in the private sector where I strengthened my writing and editing skills. I also developed an interest in graphic design, web development, and digital media. Applying my creative talents differently was my next step.

 

After several years in the corporate environment I was offered an opportunity supporting a non-profit organization and have never looked back. I am passionate about the work that I do. Creating people centred communications both motivates and inspires me.

 

Ever curious, when a new topic catches my attention I delve in to learn more. This has prompted continuing education in several areas of interest.

 

I have spent over a decade helping tell the story of charitable organizations in all ways, shapes, and forms. I believe that the best results come from people who genuinely care about their work, aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and thrive under pressure.
